Merry Christmas 2008!

Wow, this Christmas has certainly been a wonderful one for Jayden. Minus the whole not really a fan of Santa this year thing, Jayden must have been a very good boy! It has been so fun teaching him about Santa and how he must be good to receive presents. Even though he is not thrilled with seeing Santa, he talks about him constantly and loves Christmas.

Jayden got tons and tons of fun new things this year and actually enjoyed opening every single thing. Not only was Santa generous to him but also his loving family! It really makes us feel so special that Jayden is loved so much.

Some highlights:
Nana and Poppy got Jayden his very first drum set. All you had to show him was where to put his foot for the bass and he rocked out.

Uncle Jeff, Aunt Shelley, cousins Sarah, Kate & Laurel got him an awesome Hot Wheels loop and some critters to play with.

Didi and Pappy got him a Batman cave complete with Batman and Robin...and Batcycle. He loved figuring out all the gadgets in the bat cave.

Uncle Chris, Aunt Jackie & cousin Madeline got him a cool helicopter flying track.

Uncle Shaun, Aunt Michelle, cousins Thomas & Claire got him some books for Mommy and Daddy to read to him.

All of his Huston/Bolton cousins got him a talking, racing motorcycle and Thomas train station.

Jayden played all morning, all afternoon, took a 20 minute break for some food, and continued playing all night until we were about 15 minutes from home when he dozed off. We are really not sure how this kid can keep going and going; just wish we had half of his energy!
And to think he got all of these wonderful gifts without even stepping close to Santa Claus. I wonder how next year will be?!

Merry Christmas!
