A Trip to the ER

Reid hadn't been keeping his food down over the past two days so last night his doctor instructed us to go to the ER so they could get some fluids in him. After some waiting (the ER was busy), they gave him an anti-nausea pill and because of his cough they wanted to do a chest x-ray to rule out any blockage or possible pneumonia. He was such a trooper! Poor baby was tired and starving. After the x-ray we fed him and he was able to keep down 2 ounces. The x-rays came back clear and the doctor was happy he was able to hold down some fluid so we got sent home after almost 4 hours :). They ruled it a stomach virus.

Reid has been doing pretty well today. He started off with Pedialyte to make sure he could keep something down. He then ate a little more and a little more at each feeding and held everything down. Hopefully that was the worst of the bug and he is getting over it. Hope to get back to normal in a day or two.
