In his little float vest, our courageous Jayden jumped in off the side of the pool to Daddy right away and LOVED it. He then went off the diving board to Daddy and even jumped off of it all by himself without Daddy catching him! This of course stopped Mommy's heart for a second as he plunged underwater and then came up upside down.
If all this brave jumping wasn't enough, Jayden swam the entire length of the pool on a noodle multiple times! For someone who has only been in the pool a couple of times in his life, we were truly impressed by what he could do, how much he loved it all and how fearless he was. We were going to put Jayden into swim lessons this spring/summer but he is too advanced for the class. I bet if we keep working with him, he'll be swimming on his own by the end of the summer!
We then went over to Nana and Poppy's house for some delicious cookout food. We all thought Jayden would be exhausted but he didn't seem too tired. He didn't even fall asleep on the ride home which we were surprised at but of course he slept well last night. He said he had a blast and we could tell from all the smiles and laughs! Here are some fun pics from the day!

Way to go Jayden - you are such a brave little man - even when we got scared you were brave and learned how to swim - always checking with Daddy before jumping in - asking "Are you ready Daddy?" - Come back and swim more soon!!
Love,
Didi & Pappy
