ICE! Show

Today we took Jayden to the ICE Show at National Harbor. The theme was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." It was a chilly day but we were all excited to see the ice sculptures and of course the Grinch. Jayden did see the Grinch...from a distance. He was a little hesitant to get too close. There was an indoor ice skating rink that he asked to try but we didn't have enough time before the show. We suited up - in our parkas and went into the 9 degree tent. Brr was it cold! You don't realize how cold 9 degrees is until you are standing in it for more than five minutes.

The ice sculptures were truly amazing! It was so exciting to see all the different colors of ice and how they re-created the Whos and Whoo-ville. We all enjoyed walking through and seeing the different scenes and of course the ice slide!

We then walked around National Harbor and had a delicious lunch. It was a great day!
