Merry Christmas 2010!

Christmas has come and gone and boy did the Hydock boys make out! Santa was generous to them along with all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jayden and Reid received a ton of new toys to play with! They were so happy with everything they got and seem to have picked a few favorites already. Jayden has been enjoying running around the house with his Capitals jersey and Redskins helmet on. Reid carries around his Alive Husky puppy everywhere and has inducted him into is entourage of animals.

We all had a great weekend starting off with Christmas Eve dinner then of course reading (and hearing through the voices of Sarah and Kate) The Night Before Christmas. Jayden left out his letter to Santa and some cookies and milk, as well as some carrots for all the reindeer. The boys went soundly to bed and slept until morning.

Around 8am Jayden came dancing into our bedroom to tell us Santa had come! He saw from the balcony that the cookies and milk were gone and Santa had left a note. He was super excited and as we all snuggled for a few moments, he noticed it was snowing outside. We got Reid and had a yummy breakfast. The boys opened their gifts, Jayden one by one and really paying attention to each thing - Reid one, and wanting to play with that one the rest of the time :).

After playing awhile, we all got dressed and headed over to Nana and Poppy's house for some lunch. It was so nice to eat together with the family on this special day and enjoy some delicious food. Then the boys had even more gits to open! We are so very lucky to have such a loving family!
